Stage 1 cylinder heads are designed for performance on a budget. They produce excellent power throughout the entire RPM range, and work best with street/strip naturally aspirated applications, although they will work well in other applications as well. |

Stage 1X cylinder heads are designed for nitrous or supercharged applications. The exhaust porting in emphasized in order to get all of the extra exhaust volume out that nitrous and superchargers create. Intake porting is similar to our Stage 1, while the exhaust gets the Stage 2 treatment. |

Stage 2 heads are all about horsepower. They were designed with one thing in mind, and that's to squeeze every last drop of horsepower out of your high power street/strip setup. Although they work best on smaller displacement (less than 382 cubic inches), we've had these heads make some great power in big cubic inch monsters as well. |
