LT1 and LT4 Top End Packages

Your heads and cam combination are a critical part of your setup when you're looking to build a high horsepower car.  We've taken the guesswork out of buying ported heads and an aftermarket cam by creating packages that are designed to work together.  Heads and cam packaged are one of the best horsepower modifications you can make, with horsepower increases from 75 to 150 horsepower.  These packages are all built for each customer's goals, whether you're making your street car a horsepower monster, giving your weekend cruiser tire melting horsepower, or building that racing project car.  

 

Stage 1 cylinder heads are designed for performance on a budget. They produce excellent power throughout the entire RPM range, and work best with street/strip naturally aspirated applications, although they will work well in other applications as well.

STAGE 1 HEADS:

  • Hot tank and thoroughly inspect cylinder heads
  • Combustion chamber cleanup to improve burn pattern and increase flame speed
  • Port match intake and exhaust ports to increase flow
  • Resurface heads to desired compression ratio
  • Pro Street 3 angle valve job
  • Ferrea 6000 series valves 2.00” intake/1.56” exhaust
  • Competition dual valve springs
  • Lightweight retainers and machined locks
  • Viton valve seals
  • Set all valve spring pressures and heights
  • Flow bench test with print out
  • Fully assembled head, ready to bolt on (core required)

  • Custom ground Competition Cams camshaft, completely customized for your goals
  • One piece chromemoly pushrods

Stage 1X cylinder heads are designed for nitrous or supercharged applications. The exhaust porting in emphasized in order to get all of the extra exhaust volume out that nitrous and superchargers create. Intake porting is similar to our Stage 1, while the exhaust gets the Stage 2 treatment.

STAGE 1X HEADS:

  • Hot tank and thoroughly inspect cylinder heads

Stage 2 heads are all about horsepower. They were designed with one thing in mind, and that's to squeeze every last drop of horsepower out of your high power street/strip setup. Although they work best on smaller displacement (less than 383 cubic inches), we've had these heads make some great power in big cubic inch monsters as well.

STAGE 2 HEADS:

  • Hot tank and thoroughly inspect cylinder heads
  • Complete combustion chamber porting, maximum burn pattern and flame speed
  • Unshroud combustion chamber
  • Fully hand ported intake and exhaust runners
  • Ferrea 6000 series valves 2.00” intake (2.02” for iron heads)/1.56” exhaust
  • 2.00" intake/1.60” exhaust valves for nitrous/supercharged applications
  • Port volume matched to application-supercharged, naturally aspirated, nitrous etc.
  • Pro Race 3 angle valve job

When you've gone all out and built a big cubic inch LT1/LT4 engine, or are prepping your smaller cubic inch LT1/LT4 to be the ultimate strip car, the Stage 3 heads are the ticket for maximum power. Incredible intake and exhaust flow help your huge horsepower car breathe, and each set of heads is ported specifically for your application.
